After passing your test, the approved Driving Instructor (ADI) registered with the Pass-Plus Scheme, will take you for a minimum of six modules (lessons), during which you will cover essential subjects such as:
Town Driving
All weather driving
Out of town driving and rural roads
Night driving
Dual Carriageway driving
Motorway driving
Provided your instructor is satisfied that you have achieved a good standard in all six modules, and are displaying the essential skills that positive driving requires, such as:
Improved observation
The ability to anticipate hazards and take the appropriate action
Care, courtesy and consideration for other road users....
There is no test at the end, the instructor will sign off your training form and send it to the DSA, who will in turn send you a Pass Plus Certificate. You can then use your Pass Plus Certificate to reduce your car insurance premiums or obtain an extra no claims bonus .
These savings could easily more than cover the cost of your Pass Plus Lessons
